Women like men: who like children
Rasearchers of the University of California, Santa Barbara have shown that women are more attracted to men who like children.
"Our data suggests that men's interest in children predicts their long-term mate attractiveness even after we account for how phisically attractive the women rated the men," said James Roney of the University of California. He also mentioned that " This study suggests that women are picking up on facial cues that are perhaps related to paternal qualities." The main point made by this study is that women who are looking for a long relationship will have a likely chance to be attracted to a man who likes children.
Biological Science researchers looked at a group of 39 men ages 18-33 to proove this statement. Photos of these men were then shown to 29 women ages 18-20 at the University of California. The women had to rate the men on these qualities- "liked children", "masculine", "phisically attractive" and "kind".
Then the women were asked to rate the men on a long term and short term romance. The study concluded that women did well in rating men on their interest in children and those they rated masculine had a higher testosterone level then those that didn't.
