Christian Group Dispel Da Vinci Code Myth
A determined group of Christians are planning to issue a mental health warning to the Irish public before the release of the controversial new film "The Da Vinci Code" based on the novel by Dan Brown.
Ireland - A group of christians supported by the Church of Ireland, the Protestants of Northern Ireland and Opus Dei, have decided to launch a campaign in hope of spreading their belief that Dan Brown's bestseller is nothing but cunning fiction.
The group that have named themselves "Hope Ireland", are prepared to give lectures in the North and South of Ireland, answering questions and preaching the "invalidity" of The Da Vinci Code. The group fear that the messages found in the film will raise controversy and doubt within the followers of the Christian Church, questioning Jesus's divinity.
The fact remains that the likleyhood of such a group forming in England is very low. Ireland is dominated by religeon and morals based within the heart of the Church's preachings and the realease of the Da Vinci Code will provide challenges and oppertunity for Catholics and Protestants alike.
Challenging the truth in the gospel, The Da Vinci Code is a cause for explanation and questioning, as well as an oppertunity for the Church to cement it's preachings in the minds of its followers. Essentially, it is a matter of loyalty to one's religeon, and the release of the film will be the begin of a controversial clash of opinions between entertainment based on facts and faith in the unknown.
