21/7 bomber ring leader Mutkar Said Ibrahim eluded police and the police allowed him to leave the country for islamabad with thousands in cash and ballistic manuals! Raising many new questions about Anti terror laws and legislations.
Mutkar Said Ibrahim a heavily suspected active terrorist organizer although with a wealth of evidence against him, was allowed to leave the country bound for Islamabad with thousands in cash and a ballistics manual. Once in Islamabad according to evidence and his prosecutors he was in yet another jihad training camp where he learnt the skills to carry out the 21/7 bombings.
After a 6 month trial Ibrahim along with 3 fellow terrorists were unanimously found guilty on the charges of conspiring to murder at crown court, as jurors heard that police let Ibrahim slip through their fingers , and carry on undeterred planning
the 21/7 London attacks. Ibrahim was identified as a Terrorist suspect a year prior to the attacks when he attended a jihad training camp in the Lake district which was under heavy surveillance no follow up investigation was carried out, he was then arrested following extremist behavior, and when he missed a court date a warrant was granted for his arrest although 2 months later he was allowed to leave the country, bound for Islamabad.
