Bad boy Pete Doherty in court again
Babyshambles lead singer faces the jury over drug accusations today

The ex-Libertines frontman, Pete Doherty has been charged with seven counts of possessing controlled drugs and will appear at the Thames Magistrates Court, in London today on trial. The Bethnal Green born rock star, aged 26, has been found carrying heroin, crack cocaine, cannabis resin and cannabis on two separate occasions.
Doherty was accused of carrying the controlled drugs in Riverside Close, Clapton, East London on 18 December 2005. While waiting for a court appearance, Doherty was arrested again in Dunlace Road, East London on 14 January for carrying the same drugs.
The case was adjourned on 9 March until today, as the Chair was not ready to proceed.
