Katie Hopkins runner up from the BBC television programme is fired from her job in the MET office.
Katie Hopkins a 31 year old mother of two was a candidate on this years Apprentice with Sir Alan Sugar. The 31 year old took unpaid leave from her probation job within the met office to compete in the show. During last weeks episode Katie Hopkins was offered a place in the final two but turned it down because she hadn't considered child care for her young daughters.
Katie Hopkins joined the Met office in 2006 and was doing a one year probation, although the company reseves the right to terminate the employment during the year. The company took the decision to fire her from her £90 000 job because they felt she revealed to much about her private life since the show. Miss Hopkins sold her Life story which contained details of her love life to a sunday newspaper.
Katie Hopkins intends to appeal against the decision and she claimed before entering the contest that she was an " alpha female and a ruthless natural leader with a huge drive."
Katie leaving the contest means Simon Ambose and Kristina Grimes will be in Wednesdays Final.
