Paris Hilton - 'God has given me this new chance'
Jailed paris hilton has said that she believes God has given her a new chance. She plans to stop acting dumb, as it is 'no longer cute' and plans to put her influence to good use.
Paris Hilton has claimed that prison life has changed her life, for the better. She said she will drop the 'dumb act' since God has given her another chance to do something more meaningful with her life.
On Sunday, Paris made a collect call to Barbara Walters and discussed how prison has changed her and her current state of mind.
''I used to act dumb. It was an act, and that act is no longer cute'', She told Walters.
In May, Paris was sentenced to serve 45 days in jail for violating her probation in an alcohol-related reckless-driving case. She was booked at the Lywood jail on June 3, but was later released on Thursday with an electric-monitoring bracelet to serve the remainder of her sentence at home, this was because of her ''severe medical problems''. On Friday she was ordered to appear in court and sent back to jail to complete her 45 day term.
Hilton said 'I was not eating or sleeping. I was severely depressed and felt as if I was in a cage. I was not myself. It was a horrible experience'. She has now dropped her appeal because she doesn't want to 'cause any more problems'. She also added that her skin was very dry because she wasn't allowed any moisturizer, but she has said that it didn't matter. ''I'm not that superficial Girl. I haven't looked in the mirror since I got here.''
When she is released Paris Hilton hopes to help in the fields of breast cancer or multiple sclerosis, or build a 'Paris Playhouse' for sick children.
