Could our holidays kill us?
A recent study has shown 20% more people who are financially well of and go for more holidays in the sun are more likely to catch cancer.
We may have warnings on adverts and sun cream bottles but is this really enough to hep many lives that are destroyed by skin cancer? Obviously not, as recent studies have shown that there is a 20% more people catch cancer if they are wealthy and go for plenty of holidays in the sun.
This could lead to a younger generation catching cancer as well when thier parents take them to sunny climates and they expose their skin to ultra violet rays which could later develop into cancer.
The government is now going to release a new awareness programme to inform the public of the risks and raise awareness. Hopefully this will minimise the amount of skin cancer sufferers in the future.
