Homeless find homes!
Within the last year, there has been a 10% decrease in the number of homeless families in England.
At the moment in England, there are approximately 65,210 families without a permanant house. This is double the amount of homeless families in 1997. Every one of them are currently living in temporary housing and have been patiently waiting for permanant housing - some of them have been waiting for over two years.
The reason for this tremendous decrease, is due to the fact that the government has recently increased the amount of money being spent on social housing. The government has to wisely decide whether or not to spend their money on permanant housing or temporary housing for the homeless.
