Searches are continuing for Alan Watkins after his two-year-old son Arun died after being found floating in the English Channel.

The pair were seen entering the sea with 5ft-long dinghy on Sunday between 16:30 and 17:00. A helmsman on one of the lifeboats used in he search for Alan Watkins, Ross Bowman, is doubtful that Mr Watkins will be found alive. The average survival time in British waters is approximately 20 minutes.
