The Codex Leicester notebook is exhibited for the first time tomorrow in Chester Beatty library. Da Vinci Code fans are urged to stay away from the major exhibition.The notebook was bought by the worlds richest man Mr Gates at auction for $31m in 1994.
The notebook includes practical inventions, such as designs for strenghtening bridges and for flood control also a 36 page scientific document and over 300 drawings with sketchs and diagrams written by the Italian thinker in the ealry 16th centuary.
High security will be tight around the codex, which travels to a different country every month. The Chester Beatty library expects a record number of visitors to see the documents. The exibition will be opened by Irish President Mary McAleese.
