2012 OLYMPIC LOGO "WILL IT STAY?"
The contrevertal 2012 Olympic logo's use is in doubt due to a new petition voicing the publics concerns about the unorthadox logo.
The london 2012 orginising commity are insisting that their new jagged logo, based on the date of 2012 will stay.
The logo was unveiled on Monday of last week, by chairman Lord Sibastian at londons Roundhouse. He hopes that the new logo will appeal to the younger generation, and help raise the £2billion needed to stage the games. The logo was designed by Wolff Olins agency and cost the £400,000 to make. Despite this expense, 25,000 signitures ,including London mayor Ken Livingston, have been placed on a online petition to have the logo scrapped for good.
