Two inmate's found hanged in prison cells
Two prisoners have been found hanged in there cells same prision but totallly different parts they were not linked together.
Two inmates have been found hanged in their prisions cells. Michael Clegg was 38 years old and from Pontefract and he was on remand for sex offence and he was waiting to get charged. Stuart Longstaff was 43 years old from Bradford and he was in prision for murder, he has been in there since 1984 and Clegg was put in on the 28th April. Micheal Clegg was found at 11.20pm last night in his prision cell and pronounced dead at 11.50pm and Stuart Longstaff was found at 7.20am and was pronounced dead at 8.00am.
A home office spoke women said both prisoners were held in '' completely seperate areas of the prision'' and the death was not linked. There was 4 murders in the same prision and there was 2 last year. The prisons and probation Ombudsman will investigate on both of these bodies which have been found. Prision suicide in sweden has long been declining, the trend is reversed in prisions. More people in Swedish jails are commiting suicide now than 15 years ago often than hanging themselves from toilet doors.
