Two prisoner's have been found hanged in their cells at the same prison with in hours of each other.The discoveries of the bodies of Michael Clegg and stuart Longstaff take the number of deaths at HMP leeds in West Yorkshire two four this year twice last years total. The 38 year old from Pontefract who had not been deemed as being at risk of self harm. 8 hours later a convicted murder,Stuart Longstaff was fand in his cell at 7:20am pronounced dead at 8:00am. The 48 year old from Bradford was serving a life sentance and was also not seen t risk from self halm.
The prisoners and probation ombudsman will investagate.
