Israeli missiles continue to strike Hezbollah strongholds
Airstrikes in Beirut port kill 17 people and wound 53 others
There has been more bloodshed today as israeli missiles hit Beirut port in the southern Hezbollah stronghold. The airstrikes have killed 17 people and injured at least 53 people in Lebanon today in this brutal attack on Hezbollah. It has only been 6 days since the conflict started and there has been more than 50 deaths.
Hezollah has promised that there is more missiles to hit Haifa and the other israeli cities while the UN are deciding how to deal with the situation. Tony Blair speaking from the G8 summit in St. Petersburg said, " The extremests must immediately halt there attacks."
There are many questions to be asked about the future of this conflict such as will the UN intervene and will Hezbollah release the israeli soldiers that were captured which started this catostophic conflict and also the main question which will be asked for generations to come, will there ever be peace in this area of bloodshed and violence?
