The war between Israel and Lebanon is growing as Israel retaliated after Lebanon detained two service men, from Israel, who were working on the border line between the two countries.
The militant group, Hezbollah took responsibility for the detaining of the two service men. They also admited killing the 8 Israeli soldiers, who were found dead, in the area where the two were working.
The early hours of Monday morning in Beirut was startled by a series of blasts as the capital was bombed by the Israelis. It was believed that several fatalities occured.
Hezbollaa's leader, Sheik Hassan Nasrallah urged Arabs and Muslims worldwide to support his plans to attack Israel on Lebanon's behalf as he said, "The battle has just begun."
Israel aircraft struck targets in Lebanon, as they destroyed ports and the main railway station in Haifa. Israeli soldiers said that they targeted Haifa's ports and railway line as it was Lebanon's source for transporting missiles and bombs.
A third missile hit the cities port area, setting part of it alight.
