Possible landing problem for Space Shuttle Discovery
Scientists have found a leak aboard the Discovery that could cause it to shut down.
NASA is going through a minor crisis; the space Discovery shuttle is leaking of a rate of about six drops an hour. Scientists are not sure, but they believe that the liquid could be nitrogen, which can be very dangerous. The problem was found on friday, and NASA engineers are doing all they can and are focused on the leak.
NASA is treating the problem and if nothing changes, the shuttle will land safely. However, just in case, NASA are checking if the leak rate has changed. They will do this early on sunday.
Because of this problem, minor trouble has occured with the shuttle's robotic arm.
Wilson and Nowak, the robot operators, were behind schedule beacuse they were looking at the left wing for tiny rocks and the damage caused.
So, far NASA is doing well, and the shuttle's problems are not becoming a great threat. the Space Discovery Shuttle is looking for a safe landing on Earth.
