Blair hopes to back Iraq democracy by gaining the support of the US. It was announced yesterday, that Blair had flown out to Washington D.C to discuss the main issues concerning  Iraq " It is our duty but it is also the duty of the whole international community to get behind this govenment and support them" Blair said. 
 In relation to Iran Bush reacted angrily towards the iranians by saying " If they would like to see an enhanced package the first thing they have to do is to suspend their operations for the good of the world."
It has been said that Blair will possibly step down as priminister within the next two years. However, the US leader said he hoped Blair would continue to be his working partner throughtout the rest of his presidency.
