Alcohol cuts risk of heart disease in men
Studies show having one alcoholic drink a day cuts the risk of heart disease for men but not women.
According to a study published in British Medical journal (BMJ), it showed that men who have at least one drink a day have a lower risk of heart disease.
The study also shows that this is only effective in men, not women.
It showed that beer, wine and most alcoholic drinks are effective in lowering heart disease risks in men.
In Denmark, research showed that an alcoholic drink a day was effective in women and men.
