Rooney Back in England Squad.
Steve McClaren is expected to name Wayne Rooney in the England squad to face Macedonia and Croatia in the Euro 2008 qualifiers.
Wayne Rooney is to be named in the England squad, taking the place of Charlton striker Darren Bent. Steve McClaren is expected to make the announcment later today, earning Rooney his first international game since the World Cup.

Rooney has served his two match ban after his red card in the Portugal v England match in the Quarter finals of the World Cup. With Darren Bent having been named in Peter Taylor's England Under 21's, Rooney is set to take his place in the senior squad. Naming Rooney is one of McClarens easier decisions today, as he faces many injury worries to some of his best players.

The squad is expected to include Wayne Rooney for both the Croatia and Macedonia matches. Darren Bent will play in the Under 21's against Germany in the two-legged European championship play-off.
