The Swiss ace wins another tournament yet again as he breaks a world record in tennis.
Roger Federer smashed James Blake to win the Master's Open, winning his 12th trophy of the year. On top of that , he is ever so much closer to beating the world record set by tennis legend,Jimmy Connors. Federer beat James Blake in straight sets to secure his 29th consecutive game without a loss. If Roger Federer stays at the top of the tennis rankings till February, then he'll break the record of 160 weeks at the top.
Federer has already won a bunch of titles such as the Australian Open, U.S Open and of course, Wimbledon. He has only failed to win the French Open, being beaten by rising star, Rafael Nadal. After the match with Blake, Federer said ' It was the perfect end to an incredible season.' At only 25 years of age Federer has a lot more to achieve in his career, but so far, the future for Federer's career looks to be bright.
