£1,000 FINE WARNED TO ALL BULLIES' PARENTS
HOORAY FOR BULLY VICTIMS!!
What do you think? Should parents be fined for their children's behaviour? Is a fine of £1,000 too much, too little or just right? What is the cost of your children's safety? Education secretary Alan Johnson has said he wants to create a "zero tolerence" on bullying due to 20,000  children skipping school because of bullies.                                       A third of young people aged 11-17 admit that they skipped school at least once because they were afraid of being bullied. Is it right for your child to miss out on their education like this? Should parents not go to the school to discuss the matter of their child not being given their right to learn and have the oppurtunity of having a better future?
The charity, "Beatbullying", launched a TV advert showing a young boy afraid of going to school because of bullying. This will make parents aware of the situation. But what about the bullies? In this situation their parents are being punished not them. Or what if the bully has a problem? Situations at home? School?
The Government is crossing its fingers that this latest iniative will prove successful, and the lost generation of children will receive their education.
