BULLIES' PARENTS FINED FOR THOUSANDS
Parents face a £1,000 fine due to the reported incidents of their child bullying.
A "zero tolerance" scheme towards bullying is being enforced in local schools in an effort to reduce the number of cases of bullying reported daily. The idea of the scheme is that if your child has been reported as a bully then you will be fined £1,000 pounds.
Sectretary Alan Johnson says that he wanted to create a zero tolernce scheme to "stamp out bullying." There is aready a scheme set up to help parents deal with there bullying children. If
parents do not attend and comply this is when the £1,000 fine is introduced.
Statistics show that 1/3 of young people aged 11 - 17 have admitted to skipping school on account of being bullied. 1/2 students experience occasional bullying during any school term. Attacks on boys accounts for 75% of these incidents and more 12 year olds call childline about bullying then any other age group.
Unfortunately some cases of bullying have been taken too far there have been some tradgic deaths and some kids have been hospitalised. So if your child is a bully, then be aware of the consequences you could face. £1,000 is alot of money!
